Responsibilities

  • Master the architecture of the Pega platform and associated components
  • Participate in the daily development lifecycle, attending to assigned development tasks
  • Engage in thorough discussions, analyses, and clarifications of tasks until they are deemed "ready," aiding the team in identifying defects, design flaws, and performance/security concerns
  • Maintain transparency by updating progress on the team board
  • Provide necessary documentation, comments, and samples for assigned tasks upon request
  • Develop requisite test cases for produced code to maintain code coverage above defined limits
  • Respect guidelines and feedback to improve them
  • Contribute to team decisions and discussions
  • Participate in process improvement discussions, proposing options and new practices to strengthen team evolution and optimize costs/efforts
  • Communicate clearly and precisely
  • Pursue a self-learning path



Your Profile

Required:

  • Pega platform v7.x, v8.x
  • Pega Senior System Architect certification
  • Pega Customer Decision Hub
  • PDC
  • REST API
  • Microservices architectures, concepts of graceful degradation, multi-tenancy, high availability, and scaling
  • Understanding of Kubernetes
  • Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Fundamental knowledge of integration patterns and technologies (queueing systems, REST API, etc.)

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Java/Spring development
  • Experience with telephony integration
  • Knowledge of Pega Strategic applications

Soft Skills:

  • Passion for code development and a keen interest in topics related to "clean coding" (clean code, TDD, design patterns/anti-patterns)
  • Familiarity with refactoring activities
  • Performance measurement and system profiling
  • Clear communication, collaborative approach
  • Strong Italian and english
