Our client is looking for a reliable Facility Manager with sound knowledge in IT security who can also act flexibly and proactively as an all-rounder. The position requires a high degree of personal responsibility and the ability to efficiently coordinate and manage different areas of responsibility.
Facility Manager (m/w/d)
Your challenges
- Availability by telephone as the first point of contact for alarm events; ensuring an overview through remote monitoring.
- Support with minor IT problems in coordination with external IT experts
- Attaching Christmas decorations in cooperation with the technical staff of the company
- Assisting technicians with technical challenges from time to time
- Responsible for the management of communication systems, phones, fingerprint login consoles and similar devices
- Manage and assign access permissions and keys.
- Perform general building maintenance and upkeep tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, troubleshooting electrical issues (e.g. door sensors), and setting up workspaces and printers
- Contact person for the company administration and owners; responsible for the safety and air-conditioning systems with corresponding planning of the maintenance measures
- Implementing the maintenance schedules for lifts in the external warehouses and being present for the reading of the electricity meters
- Opening and closing the company on extended working days, e.g. during special events or when work is being carried out by external contractors on site
- Take care of waste disposal and document shredding as required
- Vehicle deployment in coordination with the technical team
Your skills
- Completed vocational training as a caretaker or equivalent
- Several years of work experience in a similar position
- Manual dexterity
- Employable personality with a sense of order and cleanliness
- Organisational and communication skills
- Good English Skills (spoken and written)
- Driver's licence category B
Your horizons
- The place of work is in the city of Zurich.
- The position involves full-time employment of 42 hours per week and offers 25 days holiday per year
- During the summer holidays there is a break in operations, which lasts from about mid-July to mid-August
- The work tasks are mainly done in Zurich
