The pandemic has fundamentally changed the way people work. Although many companies believe the pandemic has made their workers more stressed, the employees say the opposite: their stress levels have not generally increased and they are now more conscious of having a healthy work-life balance.
The study also shows that the younger and thus more tech-savvy generation find it harder to switch off after work, so they tend to feel more stressed. What do companies make of these findings, and what measures are they taking in response? You can find the answers in our global survey, which offers an exclusive overview of the data for Switzerland.
Other key findings from the survey include:
- Employees without flexible working arrangements (i.e. those who only work in the office) are more likely to quit in the next two years (29% compared to 15%).
- Employees feel less stressed when working from home than in the office, and they find it easier to switch off after work.
Our report summarises the main findings from a direct international comparison (BE, CA, FR, DE, GB, IN, I, LATAM, ES, CH, USA).
