Your skills

Fungicide resistance research team design, coordinate and deliver monitoring programs and analyses to understand fungicide resistance evolution across a range of plant pathogenic fungi. Bioassay (in vitro or in vivo) and molecular methodologies are regularly employed to monitor population evolution. Monitoring programs require a significant logistics effort to plan sample collection, handle metadata information, propagate biological material in a sterile way, conduct and evaluate bioassay and molecular analysis. Automation and standardization of the processes are essential components of daily work. Monitoring programs are subjected to a certain seasonality in workload. The reproducibility and high quality of the results is essential.
