Project Management Officer - temporary role for 1 year starting in September

Your challenges

As a highly organized and dynamic individual in the Project Manager Officer role you will provide support to effectively establish, plan, manage, deliver, and monitor global projects and initiatives in line with the best project management practice. You will play an integral role in successful delivery of the Digital strategy in with an objective of leveraging new digital technologies and data science to make better and faster data-driven decisions and accelerate innovation.
  • You will play a key role in delivery of multiple projects related to new digital technology development, IT tools and data management systems development, by supporting initiative leads in multiple aspects of project management.
  • You will partner with initiative leads to ensure effective project planning, risk assessment and management, monitoring of project schedules, resources, and budgets as well as helping with stakeholder management and reporting using various project management IT tools.
  • You will provide administrative support to the initiative leads e.g., meetings organization and record keeping, and document and data management. Ensuring project data compliance.
  • You will support portfolio of projects and identify, map, and manage dependencies to increase agility and optimize cross-project delivery.

Your skills

  • Degree: BSc/MSc
  • 5 years work experience in project management.
  • Experience managing IT projects highly preferred.
  • Good knowledge and experience in waterfall and agile project management methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Language Skills: Advanced English
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Strong attention to details and technicalities, but able to keep a high-level overview and think broadly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong IT skills and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, trouble-shoot, and to meet short- and long-term deadlines
