Paralegal Legal Operations - temporary position for min. 1 year starting in January 2021

Your challenges

  • Drive standardization and optimization of legal processes in close collaboration with legal teams
  • Preparation and Execution of contracts and other legal documents
  • Maintenance of corporate records
  • Reviewing of legal processes with a view to optimize them and to discharge legal counsel
  • Preparing, editing, reviewing and finalizing standard agreements and other legal documents, either independently or in collaboration with HQ legal teams, supporting Corporate Legal in particular
  • Corporate governance housekeeping, maintaining records in line with relevant laws and policies
  • Establish and maintain standard processes for managing Legal Operations projects consistently and efficiently in collaboration with project Leads/ Managers
  • Standard interactions with local authorities and private entities
  • Perform legal research
  • Collecting and analyzing data and creating reports, summaries and recommendations

Your skills

  • 3+ years working as a paralegal, preferably in a large international company
  • Paralegal Certification or Bachelor's degree in Law, preferably within Europe
  • Sound knowledge of contract law and legal system. Knowledge of key corporate concepts (shareholders resolutions), compliance area; able to draft standard agreements like NDA or MTAs,
  • Solid experience in corporate housekeeping.
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills in a legal context, knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Good working knowledge of standard office technology and equipment, and general office procedures
  • Proficient understanding of legal management systems (contract life-cycle management, matter management, e-billing and others)
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex documents and contracts
  • Capability to quickly and accurately provide high quality output while under pressure
  • Highest standards of ethics and moral values
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Very observant and detailed in paperwork.
