Front-End & Web API Software Designer - 6 months contract (potentially renewable)

Your challenges

You will join the Environmental Analytics research team, which is in charge of analyzing and predicting crop performance based on growth conditions. Our team combines science and agronomy to design innovative mathematical algorithms based on the use of big data and machine learning to support environmental characterization. Our algorithms are packaged as modules and integrated via a common platform. The platform back-end is now stabilized and robust but the front-end would require further adaptation to improve user-experience and allow publication of the algorithms as web-services:

Your missions
  • Specify and design a modular graphical user interface for module execution, reporting, visualization, traceability, data quality check and outputs interpretation.
  • Transform current modules in API and deploy them to allow web access. Specify and design technical solutions to usage log, debug and user support.

Your skills

  • Master degree or doctorate in computer science or equivalent.
  • Programming skills (C#,
  • Design of graphical user interface (WinForm, WPF, XAML). Knowledge in infographic is not necessary.
  • API design and test (REST, SOAP, JSON)
  • English proficiency
  • Qualities: rigor, ability to work in teams and autonomy
