For an international company in the global agribusiness market in Münchwilen (AG) we are looking for a:

Formulation Chemist - temporary assignment min 1 year (100%, option for perm. position after 1 year)


  • Advancing the technical knowledge (chemistry/colloidal science and related study areas) in agrochemical formulations of small molecule active ingredients/biologicals with the aim to deliver differentiated products.
  • Design and conduct experimental programs and physicochemical test regimes from research-scale in lab to late development (pilot-scale) within an established quality and safety framework.
  • Analyze data, prepare reports, present them to internal stakeholders and represent Formulation Development in cross-functional project teams.
  • Actively participate in and/or manage formulation research and development projects.
  • Engage directly with other functions and sites to ensure the successful delivery of projects (e.g. synthetic chemistry, biology, engineering, manufacturing, marketing and supply chain)

Your skills & experiences

  • Entry level position for PhD graduates from diverse natural science fields (e.g. Phys. Chem., Org. Chem., Bio-Chem., Chem. Eng.)
  • Scientific problem-solving and good team-working skills
  • German and English language skills both at least B2 level
  • A forward looking, results-oriented focus. Good communication skills with people having different backgrounds inside and outside of own team
  • Start date ideally October 2021
