EHS Safety Engineer

Ihre Herausforderung

  • Development and maintenance of relevant safety procedures and documentation
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations
  • Ensuring that legislative changes are communicated and implemented in the safety procedures
  • Ensure that regular tool box discussions are held with the owners of the commissioning system (CQEE) and, where appropriate, with those involve in supporting the commissioning activities
  • Ensure that the Commissioning Schedule Board is maintained
  • Approval of procedures for separation of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Conduct monthly audits/reviews to ensure that: PTW procedures are adhered to, LOTOTO insulation procedures are adhered to, LOTOTO registers correspond to the field conditions, that the automation group adheres to the PTW system
  • Reporting and documenting any accident or incident that occurs during commissioning

Ihre Kompetenz

  • Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical / Plant Engineering or similar)
  • Further Education in Safety Engineering / Plant safety
  • Min ten years or more EHS experience in Chemical / Pharmaceutical / Industrial Plant Engineering EPC projects
  • Advanced knowledge of Swiss EHS codes and standards
  • Five plus years related EHS management experience overseeing manufacturing environments
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Professional EHS accreditation with an internationally recognised body.
  • Local Cantonal and government legal compliance experience, and regulatory certifications as required
  • Fluent in German and English is a must
