Data Privacy Project Manager - temporary role for 6 months starting in May

Your challenges

  • Support as Project Manager a portfolio of critical data privacy change, standardization & improvement initiatives
  • Support regional deployment of data privacy processes, policies and guidelines
  • Support (Global) function teams with privacy by design review for higher risk change projects
  • Support the Global data privacy lead in building and developing an effective data privacy network.
  • Conduct periodic in country / region compliance assessments and readiness checks
  • Support on internal / external data privacy audit requirements as needed.
  • Provide service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee implementation of Global data privacy standardization initiatives
  • Support the Global data privacy lead on all matters pertaining to data privacy compliance
  • The role will require engagement across a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the business, working with colleagues in different regions with different expectations. Explaining privacy principles, related consequences & collaborating to deliver pragmatic local remediation in a risk based manner, will be a key success factor

Your skills

  • 2-10 years practical business experience, preferably with exposure to internal control processes & compliance initiatives
  • A proven track record in delivering successful projects.
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English. Other languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge about General Data Protection Regulation GDPR and supporting privacy principles / obligations, and an understanding of risk assessment methodologies highly desirable.
  • Data privacy / IAPP certification highly desirable.
  • Project management skills (MSP / Agile, scrum) methodologies highly desirable
