Annual Report Coordinator and Editor

Your challenges

The Annual Report Coordinator and Editor plays a critical role in awareness and reputation building of our client by driving the creation of the annual review. This role focuses on developing a best-in-class annual review tailored to respective audiences. The report consists of our client's business, financial, sustainability highlights and disclosures. This position is required to coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders to create content as well as manage 3rd party agencies for layout and creative assets. In addition, the role is responsible to develop and coordinate multi-channel publishing. The assignment will start in Q4 2022 and will end after Q2 2023 with the publishing of the report.

The position will collaborate intensively with communication teams including External Communications, Brand management and Internal Communications. It will also closely work with the Sustainability team, Group functions such as HR, HSE and Compliance and the Business Unit's (BU) communications teams.

Key job elements include:
  • Project manage the preparation of our client's first Annual Review 2022, from concept development to publication
  • Develop and execute project plan, monitor progress and resources
  • Develop annual report framework together with subject-matter experts within sustainability, finance and communications
  • Develop a creative concept for the annual report together with 3rd party agency
  • Coordinate content development with input from Business Units and functions, working closely with content owners
  • Set-up project management to ensure timely delivery and review of respective assets
  • Write, edit and review content, ensure that all assets are consistent with overall business objectives and reflects company's style and voice
  • Coordinate review and approval processes
  • Acts as main point of contact between our client and 3rd party agencies, i.e. design agency, writer
  • Coordinate translation into different languages
  • Develop and execute multi-channel publishing plan

Your skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience, preferable in communications or adjacent fields
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Proven experience writing, editing and improving copy in English, ideally experience in corporate reporting
  • Creative and audience-experience centered mindset
  • An understanding of brand fundamentals
  • Experience in managing agencies
  • Agriculture and/or science subject matter expertise a big plus
  • Sustainability/ESG understanding and experience with preparing related reports also a plus
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent judgement and a keen sense of what is timely and culturally relevant
  • Ability to manage multiple activities at the same time
  • Ability to work effectively under time pressure, meet deadlines and work within budgets
  • Effective, independent decision making ability
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues
  • Native in English, both written and spoken; other languages are a plus
  • Advanced University degree (e.g. Masters) in a relevant field
  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Expertise in or ability to quickly learn fundamental publishing and communications tools
