Employee Communications Specialist - temporary role for 6 months, starting in March

Your challenges

This role is within the Group Internal Communications team working with the Head of Group Employee Communications & Group Corporate Functions Communications with responsibility for employee communications and project communications within Group Corporate Functions.

Accountabilities:
  • Partnering with Head of department to support Group Corporate Function project teams to shape the communications and engagement activities within their function and across the Group (with a focus on Finance, Integration, Productivity and Strategy (FIPS)
  • Develop communications plans and core materials to support specific project initiatives often managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Develop project content for multi channels: town halls, Yammer, intranet and video platforms
  • Support the Head of department in communicating projects across the Group to employees.
  • Working closely with the Head of department to maintain a Group Internal Communications plan and calendar, incorporating activities from Group Corporate Functions
  • Measuring internal communications activities
  • Play an active role as a member of the Group Internal Communications function


Your skills

  • Bachelor degree in communications, digital communications, journalism or equivalent education, as a minimum
  • 5+ years of communications experience with a proven track record in internal communications, or agency with a focus on developing content, channel management, project communications, and campaigns
  • Strong experience in producing digital content for different channels, for example, Yammer, corporate intranet news sites, and video platforms
  • Experience in delivering employee and business project communications and managing multiple projects and tight deadlines
  • Familiar with planning and executing communications
  • Be a dynamic, pro-active, self-starter and a team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Good capabilities in planning, creating and editing photo/video content
  • Good working knowledge of content management systems, web analytics and social and digital communications tools
