The Swiss Federal Council has for the first time declared collective labour agreement for the temporary staffing industry to be generally binding. The new regulation comes into force on 01 January 2012.

Temporary staff benefit from better retirement planning and a longer period of protection against loss of earnings in case of illness. There are minimum wages for each sector.
